Fragile Land Rotunda is a public arts piece commissioned by the Arts Council of New Orleans on behalf of the Joan Mitchell Foundation and is on loan to the City of New Orleans through 2010. 

Popp’s fountain, a 1934 Work’s Progress Administration Structure was built during the great depression and has survived disasters both natural and man-made.

In this respect it echoes themes of my work; the dance of fragility, decay, dignity and resiliency.
